Ainur Begutov is the founder and artistic director of the International Festival "Classical Guitar in the 21st Century", which has been held annually in Kazan since 2007. For 14 years, the festival has established itself as the largest guitar forum and has received recognition far beyond the borders of Russia. Leading musicians from 23 countries of the world took part in the festival, more than 23 thousand listeners attended the events. More than 60 concerts were organized at different venues.

Ekaterina Mechetina actively collaborates with contemporary composers - Rodion Shchedrin (who entrusted her with the world premiere of the Sixth Piano Concerto), Alexei Rybnikov, Vladislav Kazenin, Tolibkhon Shakhidi and many others. Ekaterina Mechetina's recordings were released by Fuga Libera (solo disc with works by Rachmaninov, 2005), Empire of Music (cd from works by Shchedrin and T.
